I remember that game too. I played it when it launched. It was really good.

I wasn't certain, but I purchased the GOTY edition since it was the only one on Steam. The Steam release is the version most people associate with "PvZ."

The game style fits a LEGO vibe with its open-world exploration and colorful themes like Batman, Marvel, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. Many titles offer affordable deals, often under $5, and upcoming sales are expected soon. Some games feature unique mechanics such as pet-driven item trading or in-game shops. A few titles include seasonal promotions, while others provide a casual, single-player experience with manageable time commitments. Pool Panic stands out with its quirky design and evolving gameplay, though it’s not strictly realistic. Overall, the options range from budget-friendly gems to more experimental experiences.

The mechanics aren’t overly complex yet, making it approachable while still engaging. You can usually enjoy the experience at your own pace, and the game maintains a high level of excitement and tension. Given your experience with L4D, I’d definitely recommend Resident Evil 5. It’s also worth mentioning that I initially disliked the demo, but once I got into it it really resonated with me—something that felt natural even without playing it. It quickly became a favorite, likely because of its engaging design. The pacing stands out positively compared to most titles; others often struggle with timing. A minor note is that it’s designed for co-op play, so the shared experience enhances enjoyment. If you’re not a big gamer, it’s still accessible and worth trying. For those who prefer single-player action, the remake of Resident Evil 1 HD offers a similar thrill. People might criticize the controls, but they’re intentionally unique and have been refined for the HD version. Overall, the game balances challenge with clever mechanics, encouraging thoughtful decision-making and multiple approaches—making it quite rewarding once you adapt.

That's interesting! What do you mean by "My favourite..."?
