Hey there, I’ve noticed some issues with my Dell G 15 5510 lately. There seem to be several problems, but after checking and trying fixes from my first post, today my laptop started booting much faster than usual—twice as long. When I restart, it takes over five minutes. I also ran some updates, but now it keeps showing the message about updates being underway. It’s been stuck in that status for about twelve minutes. I think it might be related to the SSD, though I’m not sure. After a few hours of troubleshooting—updated drivers, disabled startup apps, cleared the drive—I still have some lag when using the interface. The HWinfo says the SSD is at 99% health. Everything else works fine except for the slow performance. I’m wondering if someone could help me figure out what’s going on? Should I post this in the Storage section of this forum?

You referred to issues with overheating or cooling, possibly affecting performance. It seems you were concerned about the device not functioning properly.

I noted my CPU and RAM usage were extremely high and I couldn't maintain 60 FPS in Minecraft no matter the settings. The issue started within a few minutes, and I wasn’t planning to open it, but I was considering repasting it.
