Apple only develops drivers for components they actually employ. This explains why some beginner tutorials fall short with hackintosh projects. It's crucial to verify that drivers exist for each part you're using. A not-so-great example was a certain ASUS Eeeeee, an older netbook that relied on outdated hardware.
