I recently relocated to a new residence and have encountered this unusual issue. While playing DOTA 2, I experience connection issues every couple of minutes or so, lasting about 20 seconds. After resolving it in roughly 7 seconds, the game freezes completely without any movement or sound. The characters still display animations, but everything seems frozen at some point. Resetting my PC often helps, though it doesn’t always work. I’ve set my network to "low end" and checked the display settings—my speed is 120 fps, ping under 100 ms, and loss is reported as 0. However, when the connection drops completely, the game freezes at any frame, ranging from 9 to 900. There was one instance where the connection vanished entirely, disconnecting me from the game (see picture 1). I also play other games like PUGB, ARK, and Paladins alongside DOTA 2, but only DOTA 2 has this problem. YouTube videos load fine, as do Skype and Discord calls. I attempted to verify the game files and reinstalled it on a new drive, but my internet provider suggests changing the service. Since my apartment already includes pre-installed internet with a monthly fee, I’m unsure if switching providers is feasible. What should I do next?

My living space includes individual internet connections for each unit. I noticed the router is located in the kitchen, which required me to connect it via a LAN cable to reach my room.
