I performed a copy ISO on my Pi using Retropie and moved it via OSx terminal. Now during startup I encounter an error: "1.915926 end kernel panic not syncing vfs unable to mount roof fs on unknown block 179,2". Please assist.

Did you apply DD to move the ISO? Did you execute sync following DD? Have you verified checksums for both your ISO and CD card?

During the reboot, keep the SHIFT key pressed while the system boots to access the NOOBS recovery mode. After that, press Edit Config (e), then open cmdline.txt. Once it's open, follow the steps in the instructions to complete the process. If the problem persists, consider reviewing the full solution provided.
