I'm using a HG8245H5 router with settings from its web interface. However, when I checked the port via another site, it appeared closed. The server was active during the check. Yes, the server is running on port 25565. Anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong? I recently added new firewall rules for both inbound and outbound traffic using TCP and UDP ports.

You're frequently triggering the "check port" feature, which may be causing intermittent behavior. The port status can change randomly, leading to inconsistent access.

I repeatedly pressed the check port button, and it displayed "port open" three times before switching to "port closed."

Check out this website: www.canyouseeme.org. Are you using a high-quality residential NAT? If so, you might want to contact your ISP for a fixed IP address.

It's tough to explain. Contact your internet service provider.
