Hello everyone, I'm seeking assistance with difficulties I’ve encountered regarding my PC. Across several games—including Rust, Grand Theft Auto, and Battlefield—the system rarely achieves 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution across any graphical settings. Given that I selected components capable of handling the games I intended to play, it's quite disappointing as they are near unplayable. My investigations revealed that both the CPU and GPU consistently remained below 40% utilization, temperatures were acceptable, and memory usage was standard. My hardware specifications are:
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.4 GHz
EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked with optimized settings
16 GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200 MHz
Games are stored on a 2TB Seagate HDD and Windows 10 is installed on an SSD
MSI B350 Gaming Plus Motherboard

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Was the test unsuccessful during its progress? The final data is partial due to this.

I’ve been able to determine the following:

-Your solid-state drive is performing poorly potentially because you aren't utilizing a 6Gb/s connection – which should be standard, as some are included with the motherboard – or you haven’t installed the appropriate software for the device?
Are the motherboard drivers current? Here’s the link:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...own-driver
The SSD's firmware can be updated as required:
https://media.kingston.com/support/downl....1.2.1.exe
-Your GeForce 1070 was not recognized at all. Power down the computer and verify that both the graphics card and the PCIe 8-pin cable are securely connected.

What is the PSU's brand and model?
Did you perform a new operating system installation?

The power supply unit is a Thermaltake Smart RGB 600w 80+, and the operating system was a new installation during the initial build of the computer several months ago, though it hasn't been updated since.

Solid-state drives are problematic for gaming, particularly with titles such as Rust and Battlefield. Furthermore, AMD frequently experiences certain performance shortcomings. It may seem illogical, but have you verified that these games are not utilizing the internal graphics processor of your mainboard?

Some of my video games are running poorly despite being stored on an SSD, so I suspect the problem isn’t with the drive itself. Furthermore, I’ve verified that the integrated graphics aren’t active and it’s exclusively utilizing the dedicated GPU. I've attempted numerous solutions, and I’m close to discarding the device in frustration hahaha.

Do you experience any problems with your heating? Elevated temperatures can cause performance limitations. Employ software such as Cam from NZXT, or similar monitoring tools, and inform me of your findings.

I recently completed a Heaven Ungine benchmark for approximately thirty minutes, during which the CPU temperature remained consistently around 50 degrees Celsius and the GPU never exceeded 75 degrees. I encountered information suggesting that maintaining a GPU below 85 degrees and a CPU under 70 degrees is acceptable; therefore, these results appear reassuring.

These temperatures are acceptable. Therefore, it’s unlikely you’re experiencing thermal throttling. The only other suggestion I have is to revert your overclocking settings and observe if that resolves the issue.

Thank you for your efforts; I will now restore the overclock settings and observe the results.
