I just finished putting together my first PC. After turning it on, everything appeared to function properly until the fans and LEDs stopped working except for the motherboard LED. The loss of power was accompanied by a distinct metallic click from the PSU. Since my initial attempt to power it up didn’t work, I tried re-securing the cables to the PSU. When I turned the PSU back on and tried to boot the system, the same metallic click occurred again—no fan spin or LED activity. Any advice or guidance would be really helpful.

Don't you have another power supply nearby? I believe checking another PSU with your computer would be the best approach to figure out the issue. A good PSU should operate quietly, aside from any fan sounds.

I don't have specific system details. Could you clarify what you mean by "specs"? Are you referring to hardware, software, or performance metrics?
