Troubleshooting a blank display during full-screen gaming experiences.
If I launch a game in its largest display mode and move my mouse, the screen turns black, but stops returning to normal when I cease moving the mouse. To resolve this issue, I consistently disconnect and reconnect my HDMI cable, and the problem disappears. Could this be due to the HDMI connection or the graphics card? This malfunction only occurs within video games when displayed in full-screen mode, yet it doesn’t manifest with movies or videos in full-screen.
Are there alternative connection methods available, such as DVI or DisplayPort? The simplest method to determine this is to use another HDMI cable. Should that fail, you can attempt a DVI cable. If neither of those works, the issue likely lies with your monitor.
Regarding the HDMI cable, which port should you disconnect or swap to resolve the problem? Do the games experiencing this issue display the same image quality as your computer screen, or a different one?
Regarding the component connected to the computer and concerning the game’s display quality, I am unaware of the specific resolution because the game offers only full-screen and windowed modes without providing any information about it.

I’m being told the issue stems from the wire, yet it appears to occur exclusively during full-screen gaming sessions.
