Hello! I'm working on a x99 build just for fun and ran into some issues. The motherboard onboard lights are showing power and reset switch lights, but I can't seem to turn them on. I saw someone else mention a solution involving removing the CMOC battery for 30 seconds, but that didn't work on my setup. I'm pretty sure I just need it to boot, even if error codes appear. Any help would be appreciated!

What processor and graphics cards are available? The 5820K, 5930K and 5960X models lack integrated graphics, meaning you'll need a dedicated GPU if you're using one. Refer to the list for CPU compatibility and confirm if you're running a graphics card or not.

It won't turn on even when you press the power button. Gently move the 24-pin and it might resolve your problem. Some unnecessary short protection is likely causing the issue, which usually works for me.
