Troubleshoot installation issues with your laptop or USB drive.
Hi! Your laptop was set up with Windows 10 and now you're trying to switch to Zorin OS. Since the installer shows correct paths but your Dell isn't booting, it might be due to compatibility or configuration issues. The limited RAM (2 GB) and small EMCC drive could also affect performance. Double-check that the installation files are complete and try a clean install if needed. Also verify the BIOS settings match Zorin OS requirements.
Ok, I'll try it tomorrow and see what happens. I'm also gonna try using different bootable software (i used Balena Etcher before) and see if that changes anything Edit: I noticed after trying to re-install Zorin that Linux detects that zorin is on the drive, but the bios doesn't. Now I'm not sure if its a bios or linux problem.
Attempt the repair at your own hazard, as there’s a chance you might face issues later on. Always be cautious and consider the risks involved.
