SOLVED - refer to the forum thread at https://forums. for guidance. The issue isn’t resolved despite proper BIOS setup and multiple attempts. I’ve used a fresh bootable USB, changed RAM and GPU, and even swapped the PSU. The system hangs after initialization, showing a static image and repeatedly saying “preparing automatic repair.” I also noticed a beep speaker with only one short beep indicating progress. After restarting, occasional blue screens appear, often with “irql_not_less_or_equal” errors. I’m considering replacing the motherboard since it’s a B85 board and the specs are outdated. The drive is connected to another PC where Windows installs cleanly, but here it keeps looping.

What storage option do you have? Replace the data cable if it's a SATA drive. For M.2, test other ports and ensure the GPU isn't in a PCIe slot where lanes overlap with memory controller. Also verify power cables for the drive.

I used another data and power cable, and I also looked through the motherboard manual—there are no shared lanes.
