You just received your Trident z royals and everything seems to be working now. Your ASUS Strix B450-F motherboard supports speeds up to 3200 MHz. I checked online and found that the RAM wasn’t QVL tested with your Ryzen 7 2700 CPU. Adjusting the MHz to 3200 caused a boot failure, but lowering it to 3000 works temporarily. However, downloading games from Steam crashes the system immediately. Your BIOS update didn’t help either. The CL is set to 16-19-19-39. Any advice or should you consider returning them?

No, I haven't used XMP profiles or adjusted memory manually.

I also attempted to apply the XMP profile with settings of 3200, CL 16-19-19-39 and 1.35v. It causes an immediate crash, even after lowering the frequency to around 3000MHz, which triggers a system failure when I attempt any action.

You reduced the frequency to 3000MHz and haven't encountered any issues yet. I've successfully downloaded a game on Steam, but it crashed when trying to download at around 3200MHz previously.

It's about 3600MHz, but my current motherboard can't handle that frequency. I just realized it a second ago.

Technically, the Zen+ processors in these boards aren't capable of reaching 3600MHz. Zen 2 CPUs allow most B450 models to hit that speed.
