Hello everyone! I have an intriguing situation on my hands. I recently set up a gaming PC with a "scrapyard wars" theme, but now I need to share a monitor with other users in my home. I also own an Inspiron laptop. My goal is to access the desktop’s hardware remotely via the cloud, so I can use it from my Inspiron while others are using their devices elsewhere on the same network. I’ve heard some options exist—like Steam Remote Play—but I’m not a big fan of it since I mainly play Battle.net and have concerns about compatibility. Would it be possible to get guidance or suggestions on how to set up cloud or home server access so my desktop can run on my laptop? Thanks in advance, and may the best tech enthusiasts win!

If you're nearby, use a capture card. Otherwise, try TeamViewer or Remote Desktop with Wake on LAN to get your PC running from your laptop.

You’ll waste a lot of time trying to make this project function properly, as it’s highly unlikely to succeed. The issue is compounded by an outdated laptop lacking a built-in hardware decoder for video streams, making it nearly impossible to achieve the low latency needed for consistent gaming.
