Hello, I’m looking to extend my Wi-Fi from my home to my barn using the existing coaxial cable. I imagine connecting the cable to the internet on my router and then using another device to capture the coaxial signal for Wi-Fi. I’m trying to figure out the most effective setup despite various options I’ve seen online—like standalone antennas, routers with coaxial inputs, or big network kits that convert coax to Ethernet. Could you help me decide the best approach? Thanks!

Consider looking for more subtle options like compact speakers, noise-canceling headphones, or portable Bluetooth devices. You might also explore smart home gadgets or wireless charging solutions.

Do you have a clear view? Consider something similar to the unifi nanobean. Just keep it local—avoid wireless unless necessary.

If I purchased this, I'd need another router as well to properly broadcast the Wi-Fi. The signal doesn't travel far—about 10 feet—and the coaxial cable covers roughly the dimensions of a small house.

For reduced size due to limited reach, consider two units here: https://mikrotik.com/product/sxtsq_lite2
