It varies based on your needs. I run Linux on my laptop mainly for programming. I stick to Windows only for gaming (though Linux supports Steam, but Ivy Bridge and HD4000? Not so much). If you switch to Linux, remember you won’t have Microsoft Office, and dealing with .docx or Excel files can cause formatting issues. You’ll enjoy Linux if you like customizing everything. But if it doesn’t work out, you’ll need to fix it yourself or reach out to online communities.
