Transitioning to 5700X3D instead of 5600X
I test my performance on a 1440p display at 165hz and want to know the extra frames per second I can get in games after upgrading. My plan is switching to the 7800X3D, which also means adding new MOBO and DDR5 RAM—something that comes with a higher cost. This clip highlights noticeable frame gains in 1440p gaming across various titles, which is why I’m considering the 5700X3D could be worthwhile. My setup includes: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600X, GPU – RX 9070 XT, RAM – 16GB DDR4 at 3000MHZ.
5700x3d works well as a CPU. For long-term compatibility, consider an AM5 chipset.
