It would be useful to evaluate how the programs perform on both CPUs. Reviewers often focus on gaming but can still draw insights from productivity tool comparisons. I’d check the 14700k for core count, noting it appears to be the main improvement over the 13th generation.

I recall Linus posted a video discussing this, mentioning they seemed biased toward AMD. Maybe things have shifted, but I don't know.

He mentioned it isn't possible since the prices for 14700 and 14900k are significantly higher in his location (Egypt). Check earlier discussions.

I hope I could secure the 14,700k, but unfortunately, it's significantly more expensive than usual. It's like the price is double the standard rate.

Instead of replacing your CPU, it seems it once performed better. Are there any steps you could take to improve its speed? Things like background tasks, overheating limits, poor thermal paste, or even overclocking might help. Would you share all your system details?

I refreshed the thermal paste on my CPU about three months ago. While working, I run Chrome with a few tabs open—YouTube Music, Trello, Unity/Unreal, and the IDE I use. CPU: 11600k RAM: 32 GB DDR4 GPU: RTX 3080 Ti SSD: 1 TB Kingston NVMe (3 GBs read/write) HDD: 1x 4 TB Seagate Disk + 1x 2 TB Seagate Disk. Let me know if you need more details.

I purchased the 13700K and observed notable enhancements in overall performance.
