I thought this was likely, especially after verifying the cables weren't twisted. I wasn't hoping for maximum bandwidth, but the interference could actually reduce it more than expected. Since I don’t have POE devices, that wasn’t a big issue at the moment. Regarding installing new cables, the boss—and me—aren’t keen on drilling holes in the basement walls and ceiling right now. I’ll need more flexibility when placing equipment in the future (my wife likes rearranging furniture). Permanent wiring will require careful planning then. Thanks!
