Hey everyone! I'm checking if an older system is suitable for 4K 120fps streaming on Twitch or YouTube. My current goal is 4K at 120 FPS gaming, and I plan to upgrade later this year for an 8K TV, eventually targeting 8K 60+ FPS streaming. What issues might my old rig face?

These adjustments were made for optimal performance.
The choice of these parameters depends on audience expectations.
Viewing quality may vary, so consider the trade-offs.

I plan to save backups and upload 8K material to YouTube, but just for single-player content. Multiplayer games will remain in 4K.

This refers to bigger files that will be reduced in size when shared with most viewers.
Let us confirm the setup details.
Do you have a dedicated rig configured?
Are you connecting these two systems via a wired network? If not, please connect one.

Yes. I have just received a new router equipped with two 10 gigabit Ethernet ports, and I intend to utilize both for my gaming setup and my streaming/editing system.

Right now I use ATT with a 1gig speed, but I’m in a Google Fiber area and my contract ends soon. I intend to relocate to a location with better fiber options (they offer up to 10gig speeds). I recently purchased a new router to prepare for that change.

How will you transfer the video between the two PCs? This could be the biggest challenge and will set the limits on the maximum resolution and quality you can stream... The UHD 770 (in your 14900k) is claimed to handle real-time 4k encoding, so swapping it for a second PC would simplify things a lot. Using two PCs means you won't lose your live stream if the gaming PC or the game crashes, but you'll need a high-performance video card that supports 4/8k, which isn't inexpensive.

It seems unclear about your setup...
I own an Elgato 4K Pro capture card in my streaming system.

Didn't appear on the partpicker lists...or there was just too much content to notice.
