I begin uploading large files to my IDrive account or run an OpenSpeedTest on my home lab setup, which triggers a complete network shutdown in Windows 10—no network icon appears. The only fix is rebooting the machine. During regular Speedtest.net or other uploads everything functions properly, but when I add a big photo collection for backup to IDrive, the internet instantly drops on my PC (still available elsewhere). I attempted several solutions: unplugging and replugging the LAN cable, using Windows troubleshooters to fix the network stack, resetting the network stack with the latest Intel drivers, and ensuring a 500Mbps fiber connection with symmetric download/upload.

Check if the LEDs on the motherboard or switch turn off during the issue. Restart the switch and router, then try connecting without the switch or using a different cable.
