I purchased the physical copy of GTA V for PC rather than a digital file, and I used the code through Rockstar’s Social Club. Can I move the game onto my Steam account somehow?

You can start it via Steam to let your friends know you're playing GTA V. That's roughly all there is to it.

I experienced poor internet connectivity, which prevented me from downloading the 60 GB files. I ended up purchasing the CDs instead.
