Transferred M2 SSD to another PC – data lost
Hi, I just got a new laptop after replacing my old one. I moved my M2 SSD to the new drive and everything seemed fine. Then I started gaming, but later noticed some issues: the wallpaper turned black, all files disappeared, and taskbar shortcuts vanished. My documents and pictures are missing too. Some folders appear normal, others hide files but show no content. Hidden folders are locked with "access denied." After moving, Windows lost its OEM activation. I bought a new one and tried activating it, but I’m not sure if that fixed the problem. What might have caused this?
