I downloaded Witcher 3 just to test it out and see if I enjoyed it before buying. Since I really like the game, I’m planning to purchase it now. However, I’ve made a lot of progress, so I need to ensure I can receive updates and DLC without losing my time invested. I was curious if anyone knew how to transfer save files.

You can simply use your saved file in the documents folder. The best approach is to duplicate the current files, then after installing the game and playing it once, insert your torrented save over it.
