I'm using OS X 10.6.8 and need confirmation about the chassis lacking an optical drive. I also want to know if I can download Windows 8.1 onto a USB drive and connect it to my PC while running OS X.

You require Windows 8 for this task. I’ll download the appropriate version and upload it to Google Drive for you.

I don’t have the Windows key with me; I haven’t purchased it. I’m sorry if this caused any issues.
