Hi, I need to upgrade this older system for my parents. It's an MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) with a core i5-2500k. It's not the latest model, but it should handle their needs. I kept the case, PSU, GPU, and tower cooler intact. After about a month, I started rebuilding their PC using the original components. I used their old case, a new CX450M PSU, an AMD RX550, and the stock Intel Hearthheart (which I never used). Despite these changes, nothing happened—no beep codes, no display, everything failed. I tried removing the RAM, checking all slots, testing different RAM types, reseating the CPU, replacing the PSU, testing the RX550, and even changing the CMOS settings. I also reset the CMOS battery and unplugged everything. It worked perfectly until last month. Everything seemed fine then, but now it's not. Thanks for your help!

It depends on the item. Removing it from the case might affect its functionality or protection.
