Ensure your Crucial drive includes an Acronis True Image license. Obtain it from the provided link and duplicate it. Acronis True Image for Crucial might require both drives to be connected to a desktop PC. Windows doesn’t support this directly, but a fresh installation is an alternative.

Start with a new setup. It will be faster, simpler, and avoid many crashes.

For a brand-new laptop with no existing data, the simplest approach is to perform a fresh Windows installation on the SSD. Before starting, ensure you're logged in using a Microsoft account (not a local one), and then authenticate during the setup of the new install with the same account. This increases the chances that Windows will activate automatically. If you prefer cloning the drive, Macrium Reflect has consistently worked well for me.

We utilize the link at aomeitech.com/aomei-backupper. I have replicated at least 50-60 machines ranging from desktops to laptops without any problems, switching from mechanical HDDs to solid-state drives.
