I need to move about 35GB of data, mostly emails and small files, from an M.2 SSD to another HDD. The issue is the transfer speed is too slow when moving to a HDD. My question is, can I do this faster by saving it on my HDD?

You can move it via USB, SATA, or HDD—though HDDs are limited to around 120mb/s. Many small files will slow things down quickly. You’re likely limited by what you’re doing right now. Edit: compressing everything first might help, then transfer. Compression should speed up the process but would require extra time for both compression and decompression. Not sure if this makes a difference.

FastCopy performs quickly and helps reduce your workload slightly, but results won’t be instant.
