I observed the installation of FH4 on my SSD and decided to relocate the large file to the HDD using the Windows settings app. The process was expected to take a long time, so I attempted to cancel it but found it unavailable. The move button no longer functions. A background service is handling the transfer, which triggers a stability warning if I end the process. Should I keep the computer running for a while to see if the transfer completes, or are there alternative options?

I checked the advanced settings in the game menu and tested all reset and end options, but the transfer keeps failing.

Make sure you don't touch it, or it could damage Windows as well.

The system will stop functioning until you manually restart it. If you turn it off, it will remain inactive until you power it back on.

Data is lost... at least some. The Windows setup is damaged... should we proceed?

Hardware consumption seems to be the main factor, not the data transfer itself. You might want to keep it running overnight.
