Hello, your HP Windows 10 tablet with USB-C is connected and charging, yet you're unable to access files. This could be due to file system issues or compatibility problems. Try restarting both devices, ensuring the tablet is powered on and the cable is securely attached. If the issue persists, check for any software updates or consider using a different USB port.

If the tablet supports wireless, you can purchase a wireless network card for your computer (available as low as $2 on eBay) and a wireless router. The router functions like a network switch, linking both computers into a single wireless network. Once connected, you can easily share folders so they appear on the other device.

When operating similar to Windows 10 Mobile, it appears as a USB mass storage device just like a thumb stick. If running a full desktop version of Windows 10, it behaves like any standard PC—connecting via USB doesn’t work and has no effect unless you use shared folders through Wi-Fi or Ethernet. In such scenarios, the safest approach is to move files using shared directories instead.

Do you support device discovery for tools like TeamViewer, Storage Spaces, USB drives, and more?

Windows typically doesn't allow direct USB file access due to security policies. To connect systems, you can use a PC-to-PC USB cable with a compatible driver installed on both devices. Alternatively, opt for networking by sharing folders between computers, which offers faster and more efficient file transfers compared to USB 2.0.
