Most disk cloning tools are available, including Macrium Reflect Free Edition. For optimal results, consider a fresh Windows 10 installation linked to your Microsoft account.

Ensure it's linked to your Microsoft account for seamless access. No key entry required on older systems. Once Windows 10 is installed and running smoothly on the new SSD, you're ready to proceed.

Check if your current SSD is still functional; if not, consider replacing it. Otherwise, you can reinstall Windows on the existing drive.

Windows can be set up on nearly any SSD, provided there is sufficient available space.

Clonezilla is set up on a live USB. It’s very straightforward and functions excellently. Make sure you don’t confuse the source and destination or you’ll end up with a blank file.
