Hey everyone, my friend is facing a tricky situation with his Steam library. He accidentally moved everything to the SSD instead of the 3TB HDD, and now he’s realized the SSD is full. How can he transfer all his files to the new drive? Thanks, Zach.

Navigate to the Steam installation directory you wish to relocate. Remove every file and folder except SteamApps and Steam.exe. Transfer the entire Steam folder to your desired new path, such as D:\Games\Steam\

Steamapps folder can be placed directly. For the client, reinstall it first. Once reinstalled, include all folders with your Steam games in the libraries, then reinstall again so Steam locates the files in the correct library directories.
