Transfer character in GTA5.

I began using GTA 5 on a 360 console and then moved that character over to Xbox ONE. Recently, I purchased GTA 5 for PC, and I wanted to know if it's possible to move the same character from my Xbox ONE to my PC. I heard it might be doable, but I was hesitant to rely solely on online sources. Please feel free to reply!

Yes, it's possible to move content across different platforms including all consoles and PCs. You should be able to transfer everything from PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

The rule about transferring characters was the same in both versions—only one transfer allowed per character. The PC version maintained that restriction.

You may move it, but not utilize it on the xb360 or xbone once transferred. It is restricted to use on a PC.

This clarifies the process: you may move one character at a time per console. For example, if you have a level 42 on PS3, you can transfer it to PC and reach level 45. Once on PC, you’ll remain at level 45 unless you make another transfer.

Great! Thanks a lot. I didn’t want to keep grinding for all my cars online again. I’ve invested a lot of time and money—especially on shark cards—to just let go of this character when I decide to throw away my Xbox ONE.

I got it since my friends and I planned to purchase the game together. That way, I won’t have to fear losing anyone during heists.
