The small monitor issue lingers in my mind. It happened because I carelessly moved an HDMI cable while installing it. The Aorus FI27Q has an IPS display. I’m unsure if this will be permanent, but I want to find out if it’s impossible to repair.

it passes through the polarizer, so there aren't many options left—you might attempt to cover it with a very fine brush and black paint, though I'm not sure if that works. I'm not suggesting you return it just because it looks this way; that would be one possible approach if I bought it from Amazon.
