I installed a new computer in May of 2022. It features an ASUS TUF 3080 Ti with 32 GB of 4000 RAM, NVMe storage, and an i9-10900K processor. The motherboard is an ASUS ROG Maximus Hero Z590. I’m using HDMI 2.1 cables and have two 27-inch LED QHD monitors at 2560x1440 resolution. Previously, this setup worked fine on my old PC, but after the upgrade, the issue began. The only solution was adjusting the monitor settings and resetting the display port stream to 1.2.
Sure, I'm keeping everything current for you. Windows 10 drivers are all up to date.
Consider using the latest NVIDIA Display ID update from the 30th series. The tool is available on custhelp.com.
I tried this and restarted my computer eight times, but it never happened before. I’m planning to wait a bit longer and hope this resolves the problem.
Are you sure your cables are functioning properly? I faced a comparable problem after upgrading from a 1080ti to a 3080. One of my displays began showing strange artifacts similar to the video you mentioned, especially during gameplay. I managed to stop the flickering by reducing the refresh rate. Since the cable came with my monitor, I thought it was fine, but it lasted four years before the issue arose. Once I purchased a new cable, I was able to fix the problem and restore the monitor’s refresh rate.
i have a problem that i haven't mentioned. i used to work for direct tv and they all had hdmi 1. so i bought two 2.1 cables to fix it, but after swapping them, the issue was fixed. i found a setting in the monitor options and adjusted it, but lowering the refresh rate didn't help. the problem starts when the pc turns on and keeps happening until i change the monitor settings again. sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days before it stops completely.
