When using your PC with a monitor, configure your PC to emit a full-color signal and keep the monitor in "High" mode. This allows it to use the complete 0-255 range instead of the limited 16-235 range found on TVs. If your PC and monitor settings for black levels don't match, you might see washed-out blacks or overly bright whites, or dark whites with light gray shadows. AMD Radeon Software offers this in the Display section—set it to Full RGB (444). For Nvidia, adjust the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel under the display area. Intel also provides a similar option. Ensure the monitor is set to "High" and your PC is using the full range for accurate color reproduction.
