It seems the issue persists, is it related to the game or do I need to update the chipset driver from the Ryzen website?

The issue involves a laptop where AMD doesn't seem to provide chipset driver updates. It's likely the correct approach is to obtain the update from Acer. Try it and check if it resolves the problem.

I've attempted that but the installation failed; it mentions I already have the current driver.

OKay, so bios/drivers & WIndows version are current.
right click start
choose WIndows Terminal (Admin)
if it doesn't open as Powershell, choose the drop down arrow in title screen and select it
copy/paste this command into window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
and press enter
Then type SFC /scannow
and press enter
Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented
First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files
SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM -
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...windows-11
Just wondering if its windows.

I believe reaching out to Acer could be the best approach, or maybe someone there can guide you correctly.
it seems like you're considering Acer, AMD, or Microsoft, and you're feeling uncertain about which to choose.

If you use BitLocker, the process might be more complex. I believe it mainly secures your PIN when you log on using it. Knowing your PIN provides sufficient backup, right? I assume all other data not stored directly on the TPM should remain safe. Backups are always a good idea just in case.

There are fTPM 2.0 (AMD) Intel chipset versions and TPM modules available. During boot from sleep, the TPM modules undergo an initialization process when power is restored. If they aren't ready by the time data is needed, issues may arise. A firmware update should resolve this problem.
