TP-Link CPE210 connectivity problems
Hey everyone, I'm facing a pretty annoying problem right now. I have two TP-Link CPE210 outdoor antennas that were supposed to work smoothly. But lately, one of them can't keep a wireless client connected for more than a few seconds before it drops and reconnects. That means the far-apart AP can't reach it at all. I don't think this is due to temperature—though it's usually around 110°F here, these units are rated for up to about 150°F. This unit actually gets more shade than the others. I've tried updating the firmware, resetting to factory settings, tweaking the wireless options, but nothing helped. It's really frustrating. Anyone else had a similar issue?
You have two CPE210 devices connected via a PtP wireless bridge. What is their elevation above the ground? Are there any physical barriers between them? Refer to page 16 of the manual for mounting guidelines—ensure they are aligned in a straight line and positioned high enough to keep the Fresnel zone unobstructed.
