The complete war collection is available for purchase on Steam, and you're looking to explore them without prior experience. Which one do you think would be the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed empire, rome 2 now. Gee, I was super into all the games. The DLC feels a bit rough—most of it should have been included earlier. A lot of bugs are fixed, but some online play still can't get codes anymore. If you pay for them, you’ll spend around 50 hours on one campaign; if you’re a fan like me, you could easily hit 500 with mods.

I’d suggest checking out the DLC first if you’re interested in expanding the experience, but the standard game is a solid choice too.

I suggest Shogun, its well-respected game with a level of detail that impresses me—I’d have to lie if I said I’ve played many. The tutorial seems overwhelming.

If you obtain the DLC, it greatly enhances the experience and it's now affordable, making it quite reasonable. The Grand Master is definitely worth checking out.
