Hello Everyone,
I'm a 3D Artist and here are the tools I rely on most:
Autodesk Maya (Modeling + Animation)
Zbrush (Sculpting)
And I tend to use:
1. ASUS ROG Strix G17 (2021) – G713QE-HX080T
17.3-inch (43.94 cms) FHD 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, RTX 3050 Ti 4GB Graphics, Gaming Laptop (16GB/1TB SSD, Windows 10, Gray, 2.4 kg)
and
2. MSI GE66 Core i7 11th Gen – GE66 Raider 11UG-417IN
(16 GB/1 TB SSD, Windows 10 Home, 8 GB Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/165 Hz) – Gaming Laptop

Could you help me decide which one would be better based on my software needs? I’m flexible with the screen size. Also, I’m not sure if the Ryzen will work well with these programs. Your advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

For your use, you'll require both the GPU and CPU. The GPU from the Asus model falls short in comparison to the MSI.

Thank you for your prompt response!
For your specific inquiry, how Ryzen compares to Intel depends on your industry and software needs. It works well with many software applications similar to those used by Intel.

Combined your thread since it aligns with the same direction. Regarding your queries about AMD and Intel, they will become equally competitive. For the merged post about higher refresh rates, while it won't significantly aid content creation, it's still relevant for gaming. Power consumption for your tasks is manageable with either option.

Here is your message rewritten with similar structure and length:

For a swift response, thank you! I understand the budget constraints and just want to avoid any risks. That's why I've included an additional third choice.
1. ALIENWARE M15 R6 GAMING LAPTOP
11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 11800H (8-core, 24MB L3 Cache, up to 4.6GHz with Turbo Boost)
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6

2. MSI GE66 Core i7 11th Gen
(GE66 Raider 11UG-417IN)
16 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 10 Home/8 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/165 Hz Gaming Laptop
QHD Display (165Hz DCI-P3 100% Typical)

3. MSI GS75 Stealth Core i9 10th G
(GS75 Stealth 10SFS-871IN)
32 GB/1 TB SSD/Windows 10 Home/8 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q/300 Hz Gaming Laptop (17.3 inch, Black, 2.4 kg)

Questions:
RTX 2070 Super Max-Q 8GB vs RTX 3070 8GB – which performs better?
Which option stands out among the three for overall performance?
Not focused on gaming; more suited for 3D projects (model, texture & sculpting) and some 2D work (Photoshop & After Effects).
Usage typically around 10-12 hours daily.
If anyone has tried these with 3D apps and benchmarks, that would be ideal!
Looking forward to your feedback.
Thanks!
