Could you recommend a top WiFi extender for your workplace? The building has metal walls and current coverage only reaches about 15 feet in the hallway, needing an extension of roughly 20 feet. Your advice would be greatly appreciated! Smile

I prefer maintaining consistency... What technology are they employing for the Wi-Fi right now? For example, if the building uses Cisco Aironet, I’d recommend using an Aironet AP as a repeater; similarly, if Ubiquiti Unifi is in use, an Unifi AP as an extender works well. (Assuming you have access to the routers or wlan controllers.) If they’re relying on generic consumer equipment, a TP RE650 A wired AP is clearly superior to a repeater whenever feasible. For a single stationary device, depending on your current setup, a more suitable Wi-Fi card (*cough Alfa*) plus a directional antenna tends to be more cost-effective and straightforward than setting up a repeater.
