Avoid purchasing USB adapters—they're not worth it. Go for PCI Express directly. TPLink delivers quality results.

PCIE adapters or for a stronger link consider Powerline Adapters. I've used these before and helped clients who appreciate them. In some older homes there might be problems, so it's worth trying first. If they don't work, you can return them. Based on my experience, they're very dependable and you usually get near full speed, just like with Ethernet.
