I need a reliable Wi-Fi 7 setup with all bands working together under one name. I look for solid multi-gig ports, stable performance, and regular updates. Security matters—WPA2/WPA3 and smooth firmware changes are essential. The system should be easy to manage through a clean app or interface. Since I rely on Alexa and have many devices, I want seamless smart home integration. Based on past experiences, I’ve found ASUS and TP-Link to be decent but not perfect. I’m open to Netgear Orbi, ASUS ZenWiFi, Eero Max 7, or another TP-Link model if it meets the needs. With a budget up to about $1,000, I’ll prioritize performance and dependability over flashy features.

Unifi offers a practical setup with around $600 for hardware (controller plus two access points). The remaining budget can be used for Ethernet connections to those access points. This approach bypasses a full mesh network and relies on devices roaming between points. I can provide a gear list if you'd like more details.
