In addition, some players run Destiny 2 on 1440p using a GTX 980 or 1060, which usually works similarly. I own a GTX 980 and am puzzled by certain benchmark results I've seen—some claim the 1060 hits about 45 FPS at full settings, while others report over 60 FPS, and another gives an average of 75 for the beta. My setup is a GTX 980, so I'm curious about my performance at 1440p. The big gap between 45 and 75 FPS is quite noticeable.

It's unlikely you'd achieve 60 frames per second at 1440p resolution with a 980.

While strolling down Main Street, I genuinely exclaimed, "Wow!"

That’s the reaction I had when I first started playing Bioshock Infinite. I’m not sure how the game has held up over time, but the first half was really impressive in terms of visuals.

I reviewed a side-by-side test using four GPUs at 1440p resolution. The stock 1060 maintained over 60fps consistently. A benchmark with 30 GPUs showed the 980 running at 980/2 fps versus the 1060, and my setup was affected. Possibly it’s because it’s highly optimized. I also noticed another video where performance dropped to around 40 in mid-game without much action. That’s why I’m considering purchasing the game.

It might have been adjusted to lower levels. Some titles actually improve by about 15 frames per second without noticeable visual changes. Make sure the screenshots don’t include exact detail settings.

NFS Rivals offers visually appealing content, similar to NFS 2015, yet it remains consistently available, which can be seen as a downside. Mirror's Edge Catalyst boasts impressive graphics using the Frostbite engine, comparable to Battlefront titles, though opinions vary. The Crysis series stands out not only for its visuals but also for its engaging gameplay and storytelling.
