Ultimately, if everything else doesn't work, reinstall Windows after formatting.

Typically, a thorough clean-up follows this sequence. Begin by executing rkill.exe, which temporarily disables any firewall on your device that could block the process. This action resets automatically upon reboot. Next, use Ccleaner Adwcleaner Malwarebytes Anti-malware or Anti-Root. After that, perform the virus scan you prefer if needed. If the malware has caused OS corruption, the simplest fix is a reinstallation. For additional options, visit https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/windows/ to explore available tools.

Instead - strip away everything and apply Darik's Boot and Nuke, then destroy the Windows install from space.

You might choose to exist in a world of temporary things, or you could find fulfillment by improving what already exists. Keep in mind that the more data you store, the quicker the device will fail.

Usually clearing it is simpler than spending time fixing No Man's Land on a typical user's computer after a few years. Yes, though putting in about 16-32GB wouldn't greatly extend its life, and that's the typical size of a modern game.
