Hey guys so I want to capture some game play I do and I want it to be high quality without taking a hit on fps and so there isn't too much of a delay when I move the mouse or something as I am playing a game I got this with fraps. I have a amd fx 8350, 16gb ram, r9 280x and a seperate hard drive to save the file to so as I'm recording read and write speed isn't affected

Obs is decent for streaming yet it supports recording as well.

I prefer OBS or Bandicam. (Bandicam includes a large watermark in the free edition... OBS seems to be the better choice)

Yes, RAPTR includes recordings with very low frame rates, comparable to Nvidia's ShadowPlay.

DxTory is excellent, though Mirillis offers more action! It consumes less CPU and delivers superior output quality. You won’t need to configure various codecs—just pick your desired recording resolution and you’re good to go.

I work with OBS or XSplit (for Twitch), and Camtasia works well for tutorials.
