The name clearly highlights the choice. Between Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9, the Ryzen 9 3950X seems to be the top option. I’m still unsure if a 240mm AIO will keep it cool enough, but it looks like the 9 is the better pick.

At the price point, it consumes only 150W which is perfectly acceptable.

Perfect, glad you're happy. Running it with a 240mm radiator inside an NCASE M1 should be fine.

Generally, most systems don’t experience overheating or thermal throttling.
