I just reinstalled Windows 8.1 and haven’t set up a torrent client yet. Previously I used TransmissionQT, but I’m planning to try qBittorrent this time. What do you suggest? I believe this discussion doesn’t break any rules or violate the CoC guidelines. Torrent software is legal in North America, though I’m open to removing it if needed.

I enjoy Transmission, though it's available only on OS X and Linux at the moment. uTorrent comes in as a strong alternative.

I relied on Transmission-Qt, a Windows version of Transmission I, which I prefer over uTorrent. It's open-source with ads.

Transmission-qt works identically on Windows using the same developers and code. You're right about its popularity, though I personally prefer it for cross-platform use. Bittorrent ranks second, but I find its add-ons quite bothersome.

You think your pick for qBittorrent is excellent because it's built on libtorrent, gets regular updates, and lacks many ads and distractions.
