I'm searching for a new motherboard near $150 that supports AMD and OC. It needs a micro ATX design and should fit your 16GB RAM, Ryzen 7 2700X, RX 580 M.2 SSD setup.

For a Zen 2/3 upgrade, consider waiting until you replace the CPU before purchasing a B550M Mortar. Most mATX X570 boards cost around $150.

Zen 2 corresponds to Ryzen 3000 series processors like 3100 and 3300X. Your 2700X is a Zen+ model, which means it won't work with the B550.

The B450M Mortar Max is around $100, but without knowing your current board it's hard to tell if it's an upgrade.

I checked the current page at the provided link, which lists the AMD B450Mac for about 150. However, many sources mention it isn't recommended for overclocking, so I was searching for an alternative.

It's not a good idea to purchase a B450 Mortar right now. Save up for the upgrade to a B550 Mortar once your CPU is better.
