Top RAM options for ASRock X570 Extreme4 and AMD Ryzen 9 5900X include DDR4 3200MHz or faster modules.
I used to assemble my own PCs a few years back, but the changes in CAS latency and bus speeds are a bit unclear. I have a machine with an ASRock X570 Extreme4 and an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, along with 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz RAM. I think upgrading to faster RAM could be beneficial, but I’m unsure which option would fit best. Is it really worthwhile to go above 3600 MHz if CAS latency climbs past 18? Thanks in advance.
